Super Visa Eligibility Checker
What is the Super Visa?
The Super Visa is a special visa designed for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents, allowing them to visit Canada for extended periods—up to 5 years per entry, with multiple entries over 10 years.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, the host must meet the Minimum Necessary Income (MNI) requirement based on family size. Applicants need medical insurance from a Canadian company covering at least $100,000 for one year and must pass an immigration medical exam.

Income and Family Size
Family size includes the sponsor, spouse or partner, dependents, and the invited parents or grandparents. Previous Super Visa holders and individuals under existing sponsorship agreements are also counted.

Application Process
Applicants must provide a signed invitation letter from the host, proof of income, and insurance documents. It's crucial to demonstrate genuine intent for temporary residence.

Benefits of Super Visa
The Super Visa offers extended stay options without the need to renew a regular visitor visa. It supports family reunification, ensuring parents and grandparents can spend quality time with their families in Canada.
